Inside cintel: Resources

The Resources module of cintel's luxury-resale deployment: twelve cataloged external sources — realized-price archives, resale-value indexes, research communities, and vendor sites — typed by category. Read from the running system.

cintel is RRECKTEK’s competitive-intelligence platform. Inside cintel: Competitive Intelligence for the Luxury Resale Market walked the deployment’s main views and listed the remaining modules in the workspace. This page covers one of them: Resources — the catalog of external sources the deployment draws on. Every figure below is read from the running system.

What the module holds

The resources table carries twelve entries, each with a title, a URL, a category, a description, and a featured flag. One entry is featured: the Rebag Clair Report (rebag.com/thevault), an AI resale-value index across roughly 50 brands — the source behind the value-retention signals in the dashboard’s feed, including Hermès hits 138% average value retention in 2025.

Pricing sources

Three entries are realized-price archives — the comp data under the pricing methodology described in the document library:

  • Christie’s Handbags Results — public auction realized prices.
  • Sotheby’s Handbags Results — public auction realized prices.
  • Heritage Auction Archives — approximately 5 million realized lots since 1997, searchable without charge.

Analysis and research

Four entries cover indexes and research communities:

  • Rebag Clair Report (analyst report, featured) — the resale-value index noted above.
  • Baghunter Birkin Index (analyst report) — Hermès Birkin resale trend index.
  • PurseForum (market research) — the dominant authentication and discussion community, running since 2006.
  • Closet Full of Cash (market research) — resale education and authentication guides.

News, tools, and vendors

The remaining five entries:

  • PurseBop (news) — handbag reveals, price guides, and the BopTalk community.
  • Entrupy (tools) — AI plus microscopy authentication at ~99.1% claimed accuracy; the same company whose foundational patent appears in the patent landscape.
  • Fashionphile, The RealReal, Vestiaire Collective (vendor sites) — three of the tracked competitors’ own storefronts, cataloged as primary sources on their inventory, pricing, and policies.

How the catalog is used

The categories mark the role each source plays: pricing entries feed comps, analyst reports feed the value-retention figures, research communities and news feed the signal crawlers, and vendor sites are watched directly as competitor primary sources. The catalog is small and curated rather than exhaustive — twelve sources, each tied to something the rest of the system measures.
