Inside cintel: The Document Library
The Documents module of cintel's luxury-resale deployment: seventeen entries — fourteen internal whitepapers on nomenclature, pricing, condition grading, litigation, and market structure, plus three external references. Read from the running system.
cintel is RRECKTEK’s competitive-intelligence platform. Inside cintel: Competitive Intelligence for the Luxury Resale Market walked the deployment’s main views and listed the remaining modules in the workspace. This page covers one of them: Documents. Every figure below is read from the running system.
What the module holds
The documents table carries seventeen entries: fourteen internal whitepapers stored under an internal://cintel/ scheme, and three external references typed as blog entries. Each record carries a document type, a title, a URL, a content hash, a language tag, and an ingestion timestamp. The earliest entries were ingested on 2026-06-20; the most recent on 2026-06-22.
Identifying the goods
Four whitepapers cover nomenclature — the vocabulary needed to catalog a bag correctly before it can be priced or compared:
- Handbag Nomenclature & Taxonomy — the general model.
- Per-Model Nomenclature — Hermès
- Per-Model Nomenclature — Chanel & Louis Vuitton
- Per-Model Nomenclature — Gucci, Prada, Bottega, Dior, Fendi
Valuing the goods
Three whitepapers cover how a price is reached and defended:
- Pricing & Comping Methodology — how comparable sales are selected and applied.
- Condition Grading — Western vs Japanese — the two grading conventions in use across the market: the Western multi-tier scale and the Japanese letter scale (S/SA/A/AB/B/C/D) used by the Japanese trade and its B2B auctions.
- Value Retention & Investment Performance (verified 2025) — which models hold or gain value on the secondary market.
Market structure
Three whitepapers map where the goods come from and who holds them:
- Japan Secondhand Luxury — Deep Dive
- Japan B2B Auction Mechanics — the wholesale layer behind Japanese sourcing.
- Holdings by Country & Designer — the tracked companies broken out geographically and by brand.
Legal
Two whitepapers cover the legal boundaries of the trade:
- Resale Litigation & Freedom-to-Operate (verified cases) — the court decisions that also appear in the dashboard’s signal feed, and what they permit and prohibit for a reseller.
- Patent & IP Landscape — Handbag Resale (overview) — the narrative companion to the Patents module.
Operating
Two whitepapers address running a resale business rather than analyzing one:
- Founder Playbook — Launching an Elegant, Quality Resale House
- Elegant Brand & Visual Identity
External references
Three entries point outside the system: Hermes authentication markers (saclab.com), the State of the Fake Report 2024 (Entrupy), and Chanel serial evolution (Fashionphile).
Taken together, the library is the reference layer under the rest of the deployment: the nomenclature documents define the entities the capability matrix scores, the pricing and grading documents define how listings are compared, and the litigation and IP documents define the constraints the signal feed reports on.
